Bridal Accessories Trends for 2025: Elevate Your Bridal Look with a peek into Bridal Week

<------->
Every season, bridal designers unveil their highly-anticipated collections during Bridal Fashion Week. While the gowns are the spotlight, the accompanying accessories elevate each ensemble to new heights. Notably, at Barcelona and New York Bridal Fashion Week, we witnessed a stunning array of finishing touches that enhanced every garment and set the trends for future weddings.
This year, the runway was graced with unexpected and statement-making accessories, including bejewelled headbands adorned with floral accents and pearls, and playful jewellery, including striking floral and bow inspired pieces.

Brides often aspire to be unique and fashion-forward on their special day, and some find themselves gravitating towards more modest choices. Understanding this balance, we have meticulously crafted our EMPRESS COLLECTION that caters to both ends of the spectrum. Whether a bride wishes to embrace subtle elegance or opt for a touch of contemporary flair, our range offers the perfect blend of timeless beauty and modern sophistication. Each piece is designed to empower brides to express their individual style while remaining true to their personal sense of grace and refinement.

Bridal Trends 2025

<------->

While dress trends evolve and sometimes make a comeback (specifically this year i'm talking dropped waist dresses and 1920's theme), two things remain strong within the accessory world...
- Pearls are forever in fashion
- Headpieces add a touch of elegance and individuality

-

Modern Pearls

Pearls remain a classic choice but are being reimagined in modern designs. Contemporary pieces feature pearls in innovative settings and combinations, making them suitable for both traditional and modern bridal styles. From drop earrings to headbands, pearls add a touch of timeless elegance to bridal accessories.

-

Minimalist Accessories

Contrasting the bold trends, minimalist accessories are also gaining traction. Simple yet elegant pieces, such as delicate necklaces, understated earrings, and sleek headbands, are perfect for brides who prefer a subtle, refined look. This trend focuses on quality and craftsmanship, emphasising the beauty of simplicity.

-

Bold Headpieces

Headpieces are making a significant comeback, with designers showcasing a variety of dramatic and eye-catching options. Sumptuous tiaras and crowns are popular, allowing brides to channel their inner princess. Designers like Viktor & Rolf Mariage have created lavish headpieces adorned with 3D flowers, while Nardos offers towering crowns covered in glittering beads. These bold accessories pair well with ball gowns or sequinned ensembles, adding a regal touch to bridal looks.
And just when I hear someone say "i'm not a crown person", I always remind them - the one look you envision for walking down the isle isn't the only one you have!
Consider a elegant headpiece for your bridal shower or engagement party, or even better - walk into your reception like a queen wearing a statement piece for a total change up of your look.

"We all enjoy watching extravagant runway shows and seeing trends come and go, but ultimately, choosing what you love is what truly matters. Trends are fleeting, but your style is a personal choice. Don't let anything stand in the way of your vision."

Bridal Accessory Shopping Timeline (in general)

Planning a wedding involves several stages, and the timeline for purchasing bridal accessories typically follows a specific sequence. Here’s a general outline based on common practices:

  1. Finding the Dress (9-12+ Months Before Wedding)
    • The bridal gown is usually the first major purchase.
    • Brides start envisioning their overall look, including potential hairstyles.
  2. Choosing Hairstyle (6-9 Months Before Wedding)
    • Brides consult with hairstylists to determine the best look that complements their dress.
    • Decisions on hair accessories or headpieces are influenced by the chosen hairstyle.
  3. Purchasing Bridal Accessories (4-6 Months Before Wedding)
    • With the dress and hairstyle decided, brides begin shopping for accessories like earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.
    • They also consider accessories for other events such as the bridal shower and reception.
  4. Bridesmaids' Accessories (3-5 Months Before Wedding)
    • Coordinating jewellery and headpieces for bridesmaids to complement the overall wedding theme.
    • This stage involves ensuring that all bridal party accessories match the bride's chosen style.
  5. Finalising Reception Look (2-3 Months Before Wedding)
    • Brides who want a different look for the reception might choose additional accessories or an alternative headpiece.
    • This could include more glamorous or comfortable pieces that allow for ease of movement and dancing. (You'll definitely be ditching the veil!)
  6. Final Touches (1-2 Months Before Wedding)
    • Brides review all their accessories to ensure everything is complete and fits perfectly.
    • Any last-minute changes or additions are made during this time.
